About this Workshop
Join us for an intensive 4-day training with Miranda designed to deepen your understanding of the technique. You’ll benefit from hands-on learning, real-time feedback, and expert guidance as you explore the healing benefits of through music and movement.
What You’ll Learn
This training will equip you with the tools to experience and/or lead effective, safe, and engaging classes. Here’s what to expect:
- New Foundational Workout: Each day we will do this new one-hour workout together.
- Breakout Sessions: Instructors will work together according to their level of experience.
- Anatomy Workshops: Short anatomy lessons will be provided each day and applied in breakout sessions.
- Musicality: Learn more about music and how it enhances movement and healing.
- Corrections: How to identify common mistakes and how to offer simple, effective adjustments.
- Modifications: Ways to adapt workouts to make it more challenging or gentle to meet your students’ needs.
- Mentorship: Work with mentors in breakout sessions and learn how to become one.
Daily Live Classes
Led by Miranda and expert instructors, daily live classes of the new foundational pre-choreographed workout provide an engaging way to experience new cues, new music and teaching styles – offering you inspiration to learn and share with your own students.
Your Educator
Miranda Esmonde-White is a New York Times bestselling author of the Aging Backwards series, a world-renowned healthy aging educator and pioneer in the field of stretching. A former professional ballerina, Miranda created the globally-recognized and science-based fitness technique, Essentrics® in 1997—becoming a flexibility trainer to numerous high-performance athletes and celebrities. She is the Executive Producer, creator and host of the 25+-year running fitness television show Classical Stretch, and the award-winning docuseries, Aging Backwards and Forever Painless—airing nationwide on PBS and American Public Television.
With a worldwide following amongst the 50+ market – Miranda’s fast track program is revolutionizing the way we understand the role that our cells, muscles, bones, connective tissue and joints play in slowing down the aging process while keeping our bodies feeling young, healthy and pain-free.
Based in Montreal, Miranda spends her time developing the technique, writing, and training new instructors. She also travels extensively giving lectures, leading teacher training sessions and hosting retreats.
Training with Miranda reserves the right to have a substitute Educator teach the workshop if the scheduled Educator is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. This change may be made without notice. Please know that we always make every effort to hold our events as planned.
