Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you (“Participant”) and Essentrics® / The Esmonde Technique (“Essentrics”). By registering and submitting payment for a live teacher training event (in-person or virtual), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below. Participation is contingent upon acceptance of this agreement.
- Eligibility
To attend a live Essentrics® Teacher Training event, you must:
- Meet all prerequisites listed in the event description or registration communications.
Essentrics® reserves the right to verify eligibility. Incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information may result in denied access without refund.
- Medical Responsibility
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Essentrics® is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during training. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional prior to participation and inform the instructor of any limitations.
- Payment
- Full payment is required at least 10 days before the event to secure a place.
- Payments must be made using approved methods at registration.
- Any additional charges (e.g., currency conversion, late fees) are the participant’s responsibility.
Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- Recording Policy
Unless explicitly stated in the event description, recordings are not provided. Unauthorized audio, video, or screen recording is prohibited and may result in removal from the event without refund.
- Cancellation & Refund Policy
Live Virtual Trainings
- 5 hours or less: Refund available up to 15 days before the event, minus a $50 administrative fee.
- More than 5 hours: Refund available up to 15 days before the event, minus an $85 administrative fee.
No refunds after the applicable deadline. At Essentrics®’ discretion, fees may be transferred to a future event of equal or greater value.
Live In-Person Trainings
- 5 hours or less: Refund available up to 30 days before the event, minus a $50 administrative fee.
- More than 5 hours: Refund available up to 30 days before the event, minus an $85 administrative fee.
No refunds after the applicable deadline. Transfer credit may be granted at Essentrics®’ discretion.

- Event Changes & Force Majeure
Essentrics® is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, civil unrest, or infrastructure failures.
If an event is cancelled due to such circumstances, Essentrics® will attempt to reschedule within 12 months. If rescheduling is not possible, registration fees will be refunded. No other compensation will be provided.
If Essentrics® cancels or reschedules for other reasons, participants may choose a refund or attendance at a future date.
Essentrics® is not responsible for travel or accommodation expenses. Participants are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance and refundable bookings.
- Travel, Lodging & Meals
Unless stated otherwise, participants are responsible for all travel, accommodation, and related costs. Essentrics® is not responsible for lodging arrangements, cancellations, disputes, or travel-related losses.
If meals are included, dietary needs must be disclosed at registration. While efforts will be made to accommodate requests, availability cannot be guaranteed.
- Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive learning environment.
Prohibited behavior includes harassment, discrimination, disruptive conduct, or failure to follow instructor guidance. Essentrics® may remove participants without refund and restrict future registration if conduct standards are violated.
- Participation & Activity Waiver
By participating, you acknowledge that physical activity involves inherent risks, including injury or illness. You voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release Essentrics®, its affiliates, instructors, and staff from liability, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Photography & Media
Recording is prohibited unless explicitly allowed. Limited in-person recordings (up to 30 seconds) for personal social media may be permitted when clearly stated and must exclude proprietary content. Essentrics® may request removal of non-compliant posts.
By attending, you grant Essentrics® the right to use event photographs or video for promotional purposes without compensation. Opt-out requests must be submitted in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the event.
- Intellectual Property
All materials, methods, techniques, and content presented are the exclusive intellectual property of Essentrics® / The Esmonde Technique. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or commercial application is strictly prohibited.
- Liability Limitations
Essentrics® is not responsible for personal injury, illness, lost property, travel disruptions, or third-party services. Participation includes acceptance of all related risks.
- Privacy
Participant information is used solely for event administration and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal information shared during training may not be used for solicitation or unauthorized purposes.
- Schedule & Instructor Changes
Essentrics® may adjust schedules or substitute instructors when necessary. All instructors are qualified and approved by Essentrics®. Participants are expected to remain flexible.
- Accessibility
Essentrics® aims to provide an inclusive experience. Accommodation requests should be sent to events@essentrics.com at least two weeks before the event.
- Updates to Terms
Essentrics® may update these Terms & Conditions with reasonable notice. The version in effect at the time of registration governs participation.
By completing registration and payment, you confirm your agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
